Throughout his well-rounded career, Rick has served as web developer, graphic designer, pre-press services, photographer, video editor, law list editor, and newspaper reporter and editor.

Rick graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Mo., in 1979. He holds a bachelor’s degree in newspaper publishing.

Early on, Rick worked at Independent Publishing Co.,Inc., in Newport, Arkansas. The company published a daily newspaper, three weeklies and a commercial printing operation. He developed his skills in the area of news, print production, marketing and accounting departments. During his time there he won several awards for reporting and photography.

Upon moving to Florida in 1989, Rick became a freelance writer for such publications as The Stuart News, The Palm Beach Post, and Business Journal of the Treasure Coast. He later served on the staff of the Oviedo Voice and DeLand Gazette. In 1994, he started editing law list publications, including Campbell’s List, Wright Holmes Law List, The Commercial Bar, The Lawyers’ List and others.

In 2005 he launched his own enterprise, Richolson Creative Services, and focused on website development and hosting services. He now specializes in WordPress and other content management systems. His clients include the Mantovani Orchestra, American Entertainment Resources, Florida Ski Council, plus a host of musicians and professional entertainers.
